Breathing with Purpose

Breathing is the first and last thing we do in life, and we rarely think about it consciously. Modern research is showing us that making even slight adjustments to the way we inhale and exhale can jump-start athletic performance, rejuvenate internal organs, halt snoring, allergies, asthma, some autoimmune diseases, and even straighten scoliotic spines.


    •   Take a nice, deep breath- one where you feel your ribs expand and notice your whole-body fill with air
    •   Hold to the count of 4
    •   Slowly exhale
    •   Repeat this process 2-3 more times

Notice anything? Maybe you feel your shoulders start to relax, your jaw unclenched, or you have a little more ease in your body and clarity in your thoughts.
